We, the Erikson Hotel (as your contractual partner) would like to work smoothly with you (as a customer). To do this, we ask you to adhere to the following "rules of the game":

➔ Room cancellation or non-arrival without prior cancellation (no show)
Depending on which booking channel you use to make a reservation for the Erikson Hotel, you also accept the corresponding booking and cancellation conditions. So-called "non-cancellable rates", which are usually offered at a slightly lower price, are guaranteed bookings that cannot be canceled free of charge. The same applies if you do not arrive without canceling beforehand. This means that cancellation costs or no-show fees arise for bookings that are not used.
Why?: Goods and services are kept for the guest. (e.g. staff at the hotel reception, for cleaning or for breakfast.) In addition, the reservation is held until the latest arrival time. It is therefore no longer possible to resell the room in time.
Note: Please always pay attention to the booking and cancellation conditions, especially if you book via online booking platforms such as Booking.com or Expedia! In this case, this provider is your contractual partner with whom you must deal with the costs in the event of cancellation.

➔ Taking food away (breakfast/lunch/dinner or banquets)
Our food buffets and the dishes offered on them are intended to be enjoyed here and now, not for later. Taking food away is only possible, if at all, upon request from the service management or, in the case of events outside the hotel, to be clarified with the catering management. Of course, you can also take an opened roll with you if you are hungry in between meals. We offer lunch boxes for on the go on pre-order. The same also applies to lunch or dinner eaten in the restaurant.
Why?: What can ultimately be taken away is ultimately decided by the hotelier or restaurateur, also for reasons of food safety and health protection, e.g. in the case of perishable foods. So please don't just unpack your lunch box and prepare for "bad times".

➔ Requests for table reservations in "Kramer's Stüble" or "Wolfgangs"
We will do our best to fulfill your wishes, but we do not guarantee special "favorite" tables or "desired seats" in our restaurants.
Why?: As everyone knows, wishes can come true - if you're lucky - but sometimes not. In the end, it is a business decision how the restaurant is optimally utilized and occupied. Since we have both benches and chairs in both restaurants, we ask that you accept this.

➔ Reduction in the number of people at your booked event
If you have booked a gastronomic event (such as brunch, birthday or similar), the number of people can be reduced up to one day beforehand. After that, the registered number will be charged.
Why?: We plan space capacities, employees, working hours, goods and food specifically for the event.


Why are these rules important to us?
We are a service-oriented company that operates just as economically as any other company. In doing so, we secure the existence of the company as well as the jobs and salaries of our employees. We ask you to respect this.

We understand if we are not the right partner for you due to these regulations.
